The Background

• Enterprise attitude to Web Services rather cold, as no single standard exist to force commercial grade security mechanisms

• Desired mechanisms have to be truly cross-platform

• Everyone wants to catch the piece of cake for himself

• What we get is a boiling pan of wannabe standards, incomplete, overlapping and not yet implemented.
